Job Description:
Our client, a leading Renewable Energy Developer, is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the construction and installation of Solar PV projects in East Devon. The Assistant Site Manager will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager in ensuring projects are constructed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Site Manager in managing on-site construction activities, including overseeing the installation of Solar PV systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental requirements
Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues
Manage on-site personnel, including contractors and subcontractors
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
Provide regular project updates to the Site Manager
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in site management or related construction roles
Strong technical knowledge of Solar PV systems and installation methodologies
Experience working on construction sites and managing on-site personnel
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and environmental requirements
