Job description
A clean energy platform is focused on developing, commercializing, building, and operating utility-scale solar and battery storage projects in targeted U.S. energy markets. Headquartered within Texas, with satellite offices in other U.S. cities, the company features an experienced management team with a proven track record in developing and executing over 2 GW of utility-scale solar projects.
The company seeks a Manager of Development Engineering to join the team, reporting to the Director of Development Engineering. This role focuses on applying design principles to the design of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. The Development Engineer will collaborate with third-party consultants to integrate key considerations—such as survey, geotechnical, hydrological, environmental, and site access—throughout the design process.
This individual will oversee third-party consultant scope, schedule, quality, and coordination to ensure development milestones are met.
REQUIREMENTS:
You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in solar, storage, or infrastructure design, with knowledge of electrical design considerations.
At least 2 years of experience with design software such as AutoCAD, PVCase, ArcGIS, Google Earth, or similar platforms.
At least 2 years of experience with solar and battery performance platforms like PVSyst and NREL SAM.
