About the Role
In this pivotal role, you will ensure the seamless connection of renewable energy installations to the grid, managing all aspects of grid integration from strategic planning to execution. Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of grid connection strategies for renewable energy projects.
Technical Leadership: Guide the preparation and evaluation of technical connection schemes and ensure their compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with network operators, energy regulators, and internal project teams.
Safety and Compliance: Oversee all health and safety aspects related to grid connections, ensuring all activities adhere to the highest standards.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records and reports on project progress and grid integration status, providing actionable insights to senior management.
Qualifications
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in grid connection roles, specifically within the renewable energy sector.
Educational Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a similar field.
Certifications: Current Health & Safety tickets relevant to grid connection management.
Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects and multifaceted teams.
