​Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Advisor Position Available in Narvik, Norway

Job Description

TGRC is actively seeking a dedicated HSE Advisor for a pivotal role in an onshore wind farm project located in Narvik, Norway. This 9-month contract opportunity is suited for a professional with substantial experience in managing HSE protocols within the renewable energy sector. The selected candidate will be essential in upholding and advancing safety standards on a dynamic project site.

Responsibilities

  • Safety Management: Implement and supervise stringent safety protocols and ensure adherence to all safety standards on the project site.

  • Risk Analysis: Perform detailed risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and devise effective mitigation strategies.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards.

  • Training Programs: Design and conduct safety training sessions to cultivate a strong safety culture among the workforce.

  • Incident Handling: Manage and investigate safety incidents, compile comprehensive reports, and recommend preventive measures.

  • Policy Development: Actively contribute to the enhancement of HSE policies and practices to ensure continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in HSE roles, specifically within the onshore wind sector.

  • Necessary health and safety certifications, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent qualifications.

  • Proven expertise in the latest industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent command of English, with strong communication skills for both written and verbal interactions.

Location

The role is based in Narvik, Norway, a location known for its commitment to renewable energy initiatives and its spectacular natural landscapes.

Compensation

  • Contract Length: 9 months, with potential for extension based on project needs and performance.

  • Day Rate: €500, reflecting the qualifications and experience brought to the role.
