Job description
TGRC is partnering with a Spanish IPP in the search for an International Development Manager to join their global HQ in Madrid.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of projects, including land acquisition, site selection, preliminary design and DA processes.
Identity potential development sites and manage feasibility analysis and due diligence to identify environmental, network connectivity, and land constraints.
Originate new projects and progress the development of our Client's portfolio through a structured project plan.
Coordinate development approvals and EPBC and oversee land acquisition for new projects.
Provide regular progress reports against project plans, reporting to project stakeholders and executive management.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal project teams, external stakeholders, and the local community.
Requirements:
Plus 3 years in a Development role within the utility-scale renewable energy sector.
Experience managing large-scale Solar and Wind international projects from conception through to approvals.
Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.
Experience managing and developing project teams.
Ability to identify and manage risks associated with renewable energy projects.
Excellent communication, leadership and building strong working relationships.
Ability to manage project timelines, and budgets and work in a fast-paced environment.
