Job description
TGRC have partnered with a renewable energy developer in Southern California who are seeking a land developer to join their team.
You will be responsible for managing title and survey activities across renewable energy development projects. Primary focus areas include title review, curative actions, survey coordination, and real estate agreement oversight in support of project development and financing.
Responsibilities:
Review title reports, vesting deeds, legal descriptions, and ALTA surveys to confirm ownership and assess title conditions.
Identify and resolve title defects and curative issues; maintain status tracking.
Manage title insurance underwriting, coordinating with external counsel and financial stakeholders.
Evaluate and revise real estate documents including leases, easements, amendments, terminations, memoranda, and estoppels.
Oversee mineral rights research and obtain surface waivers via consultants.
Support cross-functional teams during development and financing phases by providing real estate and land-related input.
Manage external consultants, including scope development, contract management, and review of deliverables.
Proficiency with tools such as ALTA surveys, GIS platforms, and mapping software.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Law or Engineering.
