Based in Shanghai and covering the East Asia region, this role is pivotal in advancing wind energy technology and production. We are seeking a dynamic professional with a strong background in wind energy manufacturing to join our innovative team.

Position Overview

As the Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing and enhancing mechanical systems for wind turbines. Your role will involve leading engineering efforts to optimize turbine design and functionality, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, and enhancement of mechanical components for wind turbines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and control systems.

• Oversee the prototype development, from initial concept to testing and final production.

• Implement engineering solutions to improve turbine performance and reduce manufacturing costs.

• Manage the mechanical engineering team, setting objectives, reviewing performance, and promoting professional development.

• Ensure all mechanical designs comply with industry standards and environmental regulations.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for design changes and upgrades.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in wind energy manufacturing, with a focus on mechanical engineering.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams.

• Proficient in using CAD software and engineering simulation tools.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex projects under tight deadlines.

• Fluent in English, with proficiency in Mandarin highly beneficial.

Location

This position is based in Shanghai, China, and will require occasional travel throughout the East Asia region for project management and collaboration.

Compensation

The annual salary for this role ranges from CNY 500,000 to 600,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Contract Duration
