As the Manager Project Finance], you will play a pivotal role in the financing and financial management of our solar PV, wind, and solar storage projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to secure project financing, manage financial aspects throughout the project lifecycle, and ensure the financial success of our renewable energy ventures.
The Role:
Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize project profitability, financing structures, and risk management.
Project Financing: Identify, secure, and manage project financing sources, including debt, equity, tax incentives, grants, and subsidies.
Financial Modeling: Create detailed financial models for solar PV, wind, and solar storage projects, including cash flow projections, NPV, IRR, and ROI analysis.
Due Diligence: Conduct thorough financial due diligence on potential project investments, assessing risks and opportunities.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Establish project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost control measures to ensure projects stay within budgetary constraints.
Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with legal teams to negotiate financial terms in contracts, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and other project agreements.
Investor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with project investors, providing regular updates on financial performance and addressing investor inquiries.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and tax incentives related to renewable energy projects.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects, including market volatility, currency exchange, and operational risks.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project development, engineering, and operations, to align financial strategies with project goals.
The Individual:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in project finance within the renewable energy sector, preferably in solar PV, wind, and solar storage.
Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools.
Fluent in English
