This position is based in Groningen and is a 14-month contract offering a competitive daily rate. We are seeking a professional with a robust background in wind energy or civil engineering.

Position Overview

As a Package Manager for Foundations in Offshore Wind, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of foundation projects for offshore wind turbines from design to implementation. This role involves managing all aspects of engineering, procurement, construction, and installation. Your leadership and strategic insight will be crucial in steering projects to meet technical specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the management and execution of foundation packages for offshore wind projects.

• Coordinate among engineering, procurement, construction, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.

• Facilitate communication across all project stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and clients.

• Proactively address potential issues by implementing risk management strategies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2-4 years of experience in wind energy or civil engineering, specifically with knowledge in offshore wind foundations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead complex projects.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficient in project management software and tools.

Location

This position is located in Groningen, offering a chance to be part of a key hub for offshore wind development in Europe.

Compensation

The position offers a daily rate of €700.

Contract Duration

The contract is set for 14 months, with the possibility of extension depending on project needs and performance.
