TGRC is thrilled to announce a stellar opportunity for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to spearhead exciting renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Based in Bristol, this position is perfect for a visionary eager to influence the future of sustainable engineering.

Experience: 2-3 years in energy projects preferred
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 per annum
Job Description
In this leadership role, you will guide a team of dedicated geotechnical engineers and play a key part in a variety of innovative projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of geotechnical engineers, fostering an environment of innovation and high performance.
Site Investigation Expertise: Oversee detailed site investigations to ensure the integration of sustainable and effective geotechnical solutions.
Design and Consultation: Manage the geotechnical aspects of design processes for major projects, ensuring adherence to both safety and performance standards.
Project Management Excellence: Coordinate project delivery, ensuring goals are met on time, within budget, and above expectations.
Effective Communication: Serve as the primary geotechnical point of contact for stakeholders, delivering clear and concise project updates and recommendations.
Innovative Problem Solving: Address complex geotechnical challenges with creative and effective solutions, enhancing overall project sustainability and impact.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
At least 2-3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, particularly within renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing technical teams.
Proficiency in advanced geotechnical software and technologies.
Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
