About the Role
TGRC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Manager for an offshore wind project based in the Netherlands. This 12-month contract offers an excellent opportunity to manage the procurement of essential components such as wind turbine generators (WTG), cables, and foundations, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with project specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies for offshore wind components, including WTG, cables, and foundations.
Manage the entire procurement process from tendering to contract award and execution.
Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value and ensure quality standards.
Monitor and report on procurement progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards in all procurement activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement documentation and records.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in offshore wind procurement, specifically related to WTG, cables, or foundations.
Desired Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
