​We have a new role for a Project Finance Sr. Analyst to support the development of successful wind and solar projects in the US. The candidate will play a key role in performing critical financial analysis and project valuation thereby contributing to the effective operational and strategic direction of our growing organization.

Company Overview: 

The Green Recruitment Company is working with an experienced developer, owner and operator of wind and solar farms with a large presence in Europe and a growing team in the US.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing Excel-based discounted cash flow models for financing purposes for renewable energy projects.

• Build and maintain relationships with financial partners in collaboration with the U.S. leadership team

• Ensuring consistent and accurate financial assessment of projects and investment opportunities

Tasks

• Gathers and validates relevant commercial, financial, and project-specific information to ensure timely and reliable financial analysis of pipeline and acquisition projects across various project phases and transactions

• Populates and runs financial models and supports international financial modelling efforts

• Preparation of memos and proposals for management based on financial model results

Required skills

• Expert-level competency in MS Excel

• Experienced in programming languages such as Python, Visual Basic, SQL is a plus

• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a wide variety of team members and stakeholders

Education and Experience

• Engineering or Business degree with 2-5 years of experience in financial modelling, project finance, M&A or infrastructure

• Project Finance and renewable tax equity financing experience required
