​Project Manager

The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to have partnered with a mission-led, leading renewable energy investment fund, to identify a seasoned Project Manager, to join their dynamic London team.

The business is on track to deliver over 1GW of Energy Storage, doubling their current capacity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee detailed design/ engineering programmes and deliverables working with consultants and sub-contractors, ensure scope is completed as planned

• Review and approve design packages for construction

• Manage technical query coordination with suppliers and sub-contractors prior and during project delivery

• Work with the project director to prepare detailed project budgets and programmes, closely monitor those throughout the delivery stages of the projects

• Assist with the completion of contracts, particularly technical appendices to contracts

• Prepare regular progress reports for projects including status of risks, any deviations from the PoW, budget or scope

• Handover of the project to the internal or external O&M team

• Implement detailed project plans, keeping track of risks, goals, tasks, resources, schedules, costs, and contingencies.

• Proactively mitigate risks and resolve any matters encountered on site in conjunction with the consultants/ subcontractors/ suppliers (escalating to the project director if required)

Qualifications:

• BEng/Meng/MSc in electrical, mechanical, civil engineering or other engineering subject

• Proven track record (minimum 5 years’ experience) in the project management of utility scale energy related projects such as battery storage projects and solar parks.

• DNO/ ICP work experience is an advantage.
