Project Manager – Solar PV Development - Oxfordshire
About the Project
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with specialized expertise in renewable energy projects, specifically within Solar PV development. This contract position, set to last 12 months, will be based in Oxfordshire, a hub for cutting-edge renewable energy initiatives in the UK.
Job Description
Project Oversight: Lead the planning, execution, and completion of Solar PV development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, managing communication and expectations to align with project goals.
Resource Management: Allocate necessary resources effectively and oversee the work of project teams to ensure optimal productivity and performance.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, maintaining project stability and continuity.
Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure all project activities comply with legal standards and internal policies, focusing on safety and environmental regulations related to solar energy development.
Performance Reporting: Monitor and report on project progress and performance metrics to stakeholders, providing regular updates and adjustment strategies as necessary.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on renewable energy or environmental science.
Proven Experience: Extensive experience managing large-scale solar energy projects, including familiarity with the design, financing, and operational aspects of Solar PV development.
Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, driving them towards successful project completion.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
