Job description
Title: PV Engineer
Location: France (Remote)
Responsibilities:
Perform site-specific engineering analysis including site-suitability assessments with strong alignment with the Head of PV Engineering in the Group.
Provide conceptual designs and preliminary yield assessments.
Create electrical single-line diagrams or connection diagrams for PV systems.
Prepare the projects for execution design (outsourced) or EPC tender and support the technical coordination with experts.
Participate in the preparation and continuous update of Group Criteria concerning the technical and environmental aspects of the development, implementation, and operation of solar PV projects in different markets.
Coordinate with the technical consultants, environmental and social aspects of the projects, ensuring that the highest international standards are applied based on our company Code of Conduct.
Communicate with other functional areas of the company on the project’s needs.
Cooperate closely with the GIS department regarding any aspects of land usage.
To support the project leader and the projects considering the quantitative and qualitative goals.
Requirements:
>3 years of experience in planning or engineering in the field of ground-mounted PV systems.
Mastery of PVSyst
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (3D is an advantage)
Required knowledge of Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Planner and Excel) or similar
Profound knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written
Team player: Willingness to exchange ideas and collaborate with team members
High level of self-management
Willingness to travel
