Job description

​**Must have experience selling software to electric utilities in the Western US

**Ideal candidates will be based in the Western or Central US

Our client, a leader in customer engagement/communications software for utilities, recently received significant funding from leading climate investors, is coming off of an excellent 2024 performance, and is looking for a Regional VP to lead and continue to grow a small (4-5 person) Sales team covering the Western US, reporting to the CRO.

Utilities rely on this product to:

  • ensure delivery of critical communications with customers (disaster preparedness and response/program enrollment)

  • automate low-value / high-volume customer service activities in order to reduce operating costs

  • develop more sophisticated customer profiles using AI in order to increase program enrollments and better monetize customer relationships.

Required experience/profile:

  • Experience selling SaaS products to electric utilities + a strong relevant customer/prospect network in the Western US.

  • Track record of success managing long sales cycles and closing large dollar-value agreements

Ideal candidates will have past experience managing/growing a Sales team.

This is a remote role open to candidates based in the US.
