Job description

​The Green Recruitment Company has been partnered with a Leading IPP in the search of a Sales Engineer with expertise in wind, PV, and battery technologies to join the talented team in Portugal.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the wind, photovoltaic, and battery storage markets.

  • Act as a technical expert to advise clients on the best energy solutions based on their needs and requirements.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to clients.

  • Collaborate with the engineering and technical teams to ensure that solutions meet client specifications and requirements.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential clients.

  • Assist in the preparation of commercial offers, contracts, and negotiations.

  • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to project implementation.

  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

  • Stay updated on the latest developments and innovations in the wind, photovoltaic, and battery storage industries.

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company’s solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales, with a focus on renewable energy (wind, PV, and/or battery storage).

  • Strong technical knowledge of wind energy, photovoltaic systems, and battery storage solutions.

  • Experience in designing or configuring energy solutions and conducting technical analyses.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.

  • Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and accessible manner.

  • Willingness to travel within Portugal and occasionally abroad to meet clients and attend events.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • A strong passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
