Job description
The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with a leading Cleantech consultancy, that actively helps clients & communities navigate the complex & rapidly evolving energy transition. Combining their deep technical expertise with the capabilities of their clients and partners, the client responds to some of the most complex challenges facing our planet today.
The client recognises that the global energy order is changing & strives to be at the forefront of that change. As such, they are currently seeking highly skilled & motivated Senior Electrical Engineers, to join their dedicated team in advancing BESS as a core component of a net-zero carbon future. This is a whole business including procuring and delivering their energy-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop concept and detailed designs, including layouts, single line diagrams (SLDs), communication block diagrams, P&IDs, functional descriptions, and operating philosophies.
Conduct techno-economic modelling and optimisation/sizing studies for microgrids and hybrid systems (e.g., solar, wind, BESS), considering site and network constraints.
Conduct site inspections of energy storage assets during and upon project completion, including the creation and completion of ITP/ITR during FAT/SAT.
Provide innovative and robust technical solutions for projects, involving Power Service Line Leaders/Coordinators as needed.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
5 years of industry experience, preferably in a consulting environment
Chartered or actively pursuing chartered status
Project management skills
Team player who cooperates well with others and openly shares information and knowledge
Strong verbal and written communication skills
