​I am working with a leading renewables business who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support with the financial and commercial management of BESS projects, ensuring cost control, budget adherence, and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Management: Prepare and monitor budgets, cost estimates, and cash flows. Track financial performance and risks.

• Procurement Support: Assist in tendering, RFQs, and supplier negotiations.

• Contract Administration: Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

• Project Tracking: Monitor costs, variations, and contingencies

• Risk & Cost Control: Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Collaboration: Work with project, finance, and operations teams for seamless data flow.

• Reporting: Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and risk assessments.

• Invoice Management: Review and approve invoices, ensuring alignment with contracts.

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in quantity surveying/cost management within energy, construction, or infrastructure.

• Some experience in BESS construction projects
