WTG Technician – Onshore Wind (Contract)
Location: Cambridgeshire, UK
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Day Rate: £450

This is a significant opportunity for a professional looking to advance in the sustainable energy sector on a 12-month contract basis.
Role Overview: The WTG Technician will be integral to the maintenance, fault diagnostics, and repairs of wind turbine generators (WTGs). This role requires ensuring consistent operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards within the onshore wind farm.
Responsibilities:
Conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of WTGs.
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
Accurately recording technical data and daily activity reports.
Upholding strict adherence to safety and environmental policies.
Working collaboratively with site teams to enhance turbine performance and reliability.
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in a WTG Technician role or similar within the wind energy sector.
Relevant technical certification or diploma.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in wind turbines.
Strong analytical skills and resilience in facing operational challenges.
Effective communication abilities and teamwork orientation.
