Job description

Title: Product Manager (Smart Grid & Digitalisation)

Location: Athens, Attiki, Greece (Hybrid)

The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with a revolutionary cleantech start-up who are playing a vital role in the UK & Europe’s energy transition! Through their suite of Smart Grid software solutions, they are enabling utilities and grid operators to monitor, optimise, & control power grids.

Following VC-backing and successfully onboarding an impressive list of international clients, they are currently searching for a Product Manager, who will play a leading role in the business’ continued success by managing a growing team and overseeing their digital products from conception through to deployment!

This individual will be joining the Athens office and will have several years of experience in the renewables sphere (ideally within an energy software/smart grid/cleantech business), bringing both product & leadership expertise.

Candidates must be fluent in English.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the product development of existing and upcoming ‘smart grid’ software products.

  • Direct involvement in high-level strategy as well as short-term sprint tasks.

  • Manage team tasks and projects, tracking progress to ensure timely completion.

  • Keep track of new feature requests and manage their prioritisation.

  • Collaborate with other product managers, tech teams, and commercial & senior leadership.

  • Oversee projects and products from conception through to delivery.

  • Direct involvement in recruitment and hiring for the team.

  • Present team & product updates in company-wide events.

Job Requirements:

  • >4 years experience in software product management.

  • Proven ability to lead a product team and work in a cross-functional environment.

  • Excellent communication & organisation skills.

  • Working experience with smart grid, renewable energy software, or cleantech products.

  • Proficiency in using project management tools (Jira, Miro, Trello etc.)

  • English fluency.
