​Title: Senior Fund Accountant

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (Hybrid)

TGRC has a great new opportunity for a Senior Fund Accountant to join an exciting new company who are powering ahead in support of the energy transition.

Our client is a renewable energy company who are developing projects in the Solar, BESS and Wind sectors and are looking to hire an experienced finance professional to play a crucial part in their ongoing growth.

Your role:

• Working closely with the Development team in project development budget preparation and reporting

• Business cash flow planning including oversight of total spending and income projected per quarter

• Forecasting and managing the draw-down process for external equity sources

• Supporting the management team in M&A activities for project sales

• Supporting the management team in further capital raising (equity and/or debt)

Your profile:

• 7+ years experience in an accounting/finance-related role

• Solid experience in project and/or fund accounting

• Knowledge of multiple finance-related workstreams including M&A, debt and equity raising and treasury

• Well-structured in understanding commercial and financial processes to build tools and processes

• Experience working in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors is highly desired

This is a unique role which will give the successful candidate exposure across all commercial and financial aspects of the business, with room for him to grow into a Head of Finance position.
